Rivera Place is a new aged care community, offering affordable specialist services and support with a highly personalised approach. We respect the knowledge and experience of our aging citizens, supporting individuals and their families based on their unique needs, whether that be help getting dressed, or full-time nursing support.
Rivera Place specialises in the care of those with complex or multiple behavioural and memory conditions such as depression, alcoholism, post-traumatic stress, dementia and the needs of returned servicemen and women. Our nurses are trained in managing challenging behaviours and supported by geriatric and mental health service professionals.
Our specialist memory care staff, dementia support services, and purpose designed sensory and tactile areas help to stimulate the mind and create a warm ‘homely’ atmosphere which is settling and comfortable for our residents. At Rivera Place, they also benefit from an increased link with the local community, a positive living environment and a stronger sense of social inclusion.
Our highly trained and empathetic staff provide specialist palliative care, comfort, and dignity to those reaching the end of their lives, supporting individual spiritual needs with pastoral care support.
